Diana Crossan
Ambassador
Dame Diana Crossan is Kaibosh’s Ambassador, following nine years on our Board of Trustees (2017-2025). Her career spans charitable, commercial and government leadership, including Chief Executive of Wellington Free Ambulance, Retirement Commissioner and as Chair of the JR McKenzie Trust, So They Can, and WELLfed (a Kaibosh community partner). Diana is a tireless advocate for social justice. She was a Probation Officer before leading New Zealand’s Equal Opportunities Unit.
Diana champions Kaibosh with infectious energy, sharing our impact story with her wide networks – and even collects egg cartons from around her suburb for re-use at Kaibosh. In her time as a voluntary board member at Kaibosh went through major change and development: expanding from two sites to three; ensuring an uninterrupted service delivery for communities through the pandemic; adding a kitchen programme in Pito-one and beginning second harvest operation in Kāpiti and Horowhenua.
