Join Kaibosh and advocate for change

Market rescue at Harbourside Market, Wellington – one of our first food partners.

Kaibosh plays a vital role in advocacy by bringing frontline experience into national conversations about food security and food waste

We are an active founding member of the Aotearoa Food Rescue Alliance (AFRA) and work alongside other national partners including Kore Hiakai, Champions 12.3, The Salvation Army and Eat New Zealand. Locally in Te Upoko o te Ika / Greater Wellington Region, we collaborate with Iwi and Hapu and our community partners and stakeholders.

Through these relationships, we advocate for system-level change – recognising that while community efforts are vital, charities alone cannot carry the weight of systemic failure.

Your voice can make a difference

Sustainable solutions require policy, funding, and structural settings that value kai, prompt reductions in food waste, and ensure everyone has access to the basics of life.
