Run an event

Every dollar raised supports the logistics that make food rescue possible — our staff, drivers, volunteer coordination, vehicles, warehousing, fridges, freezers and more!

May annual appeal
This May, we’re raising funds for a new low-emissions truck to scale up second harvest! This is critical infrastructure to help us rescue more locally sourced healthy kai and move it across the region.
Through Moving Kai in May, we’re inviting organisations and teams, to be part of a practical solution: connecting surplus food with communities.
The opportunity

- scale up with support from farms and growers
- connect kai with estimated 12,000 people every week
A new truck will unlock scale, reach, and impact for a more resilient kai network.
